Hello Crafters!
Welcome to the Hero Arts Summer Catalog Blog Hop! You should have arrived from the fantastic Jessica Frost-Ballas but in case you're just stopping by you'll want to head back to the Hero Arts Blog so you don't miss a thing. So many great things in this catalog, let's get right to the good stuff!
Hero Arts is generously giving away two $50 gift cards, drawn from the comments left along the hop. Comment on all the blogs for more chances to win! You have until Sunday, May 28 at 11:59pm to enter. The winners will be announced on the Hero Arts blog.
I joined a cast of unlikely characters to create this card but honestly I love the way to came out. Even though their used differently they look like they go together perfectly! I started by cutting the Weaving Fancy Die out of white and then only using the striped base portion over a black card front.
Next, I stamped and colored the Floral Journaling Bundle. These pretty flowers are fabulous for cards too! After they were colored up I cut them out with their coordinating dies. The sentiment was the last piece and for that I used the new Together Stamp & Cut.
I die cut the together out of white twice and plum once and then stacked them together to give it more weight. The sub-sentiment was heat embossed in white on plum and then trimmed out as a label. In order to make everything more legible I backed the sentiment with a white rectangle, added some shimmer to my flowers and called it good!
Thanks so much for stopping over! Head on over to the talented Libby Hickson's blog for even more inspiration!
